Goldie 2009 - The Kids Are All Riot
In April 2009, Goldie's 'Kids Are All Riot' exhibition took place in Shoreditch, London. The stunning installation of art in the duplex Maverick showroom space attracted the likes of Ian Brown who commented on the beauty of his work.
Goldie’s screen-print 'Apocalypse Angel' was released to coincide with this retrospective of the artist's work. Goldie has seen his art displayed on the London Underground in conjunction with the arts company ‘Art Below’ which meant millions of commuters and passengers from all around the world got to see his work.
The BBC music documentary ‘Classic Goldie’ also exposed his artwork to millions, showing the multifaceted skills of Goldie the musician and artist.
His 2010 show, ‘The Lock Up’, was held in a secret pop-up London location and attracted a huge celebrity crowd including Tracey Emin, Ian Brown, Danny Cipriani and Gemma Arterton.
